MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (December 1, 2016) – Imagine! Print Solutions (“Imagine!”), North America’s foremost visual communications company, is pleased to announce it has just completed the installation of a seven-color, 64-inch KBA 164 printing press. Imagine! invested in this new equipment to drive further improvement in the production of customer branded marketing materials. The new large-format press will be equipped with the latest state-of-the-art technology that lithography has to offer including high production speeds, fast make-readies, and precise inline quality control.
Craig Mandery, Imagine! Chief Operating Officer, commented, “We invested in a new KBA 7-color 164 to support our ever-growing UV business, add tremendous capacity to our large-format work and back up our other UV presses.” He continued, “This new press has an impressive track record in delivering high-quality results, and we’re thrilled to add this equipment to our fleet of sheetfed presses.”
This installation will be the tenth KBA press installed at Imagine!’s corporate facility. “KBA has been a trusted press partner for over 10 years and we value our continued partnership,” explained Imagine! CEO, John Hans. “KBA has been instrumental in providing us new equipment and technology that is driving high quality results for our customers every day. Their continued commitment to our market and sheet size requirements, and delivery of smarter technology and more automation, grants us the best possible performance from our Litho department.”
John goes on to say, “Imagine! is growing and continuing to build our platform for the future. We are very excited to add this press to our fleet, and with more industry-best equipment coming to Imagine! in 2017, we are well positioned to fuel growth, deliver a high-quality product and delight our customers for years to come.”
Imagine!’s impressive fleet of 65 printing presses and finishing equipment is one of the nation’s youngest. The majority of which were purchased less than 10 years ago, and kept in pristine shape with regular maintenance. The company invests millions in new equipment annually and has investment strategies in place to continue adding new presses and rotating out aging ones. Imagine! has a track record of purchasing the latest best-in-class printing technology and beta-testing emerging technologies.
